Kollam is also ready to be a part of the transmission/distribution network of KSEB by adopting a new technology by building a Gas Insulated Substation at the circle office compound. The stone laying ceremony will be conducted on 4th of September 2010 and this will be a milestone as well as a progress in the effort of reducing the interruptions especially under the area of Kollam division.
